No. 1 seed Anastasia Potapova has been through to the final of the WTA 250 tournament in Cluj-Napoca after ousting 128th-ranked lucky loser Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-3 7-5.
Early in the match, the Russian tennis star claimed a break in the fourth game and that one break was enough for her to seal the opener.
After sealing the opener, the top seed also earned the first break of the second set in the fifth game to go 3-2 up but Sasnovich managed to instantly get the break back in the following game.
While Potapova broke the Belarusian again and had a chance to serve out for the match at 5-4, the lucky loser refused to quit and got the break back to tie the set to five games apiece.
However, the Russian didn't panic, collecting her third break of the set in the 11th game for a 6-5 lead before serving out for the match in the following game.

Now, she awaits the winner of the match between Lucia Bronzetti and Katerina Siniakova.
Potapova makes her first final since getting divorced and opening up about it
In case you missed it, the 23-year-old divorced from ATP star Alexander Shevchenko a couple of months ago.
Just before starting her Cluj-Napoca campaign, the Russian said she made that public in November because she wanted to end speculations and feel "free."
My team, my close ones, even me, we were all shocked by how mentally strong I could be. Every other person came to me and asked, So what, you two broke up? On tour, outside the tour," Potapova told Sofya Tartakova for Bolshe.

"Of course, its not really polite, but its life and people are curious. Its like a TV show for them. I think I needed to put an end to it, to end things officially, so I wouldnt get those questions anymore. I think that was the last step I needed to finally set myself free."
If the Russian star wins her final on Sunday, she will collect her third WTA title.
