The cuts keep coming in WWE, and Karl Anderson and Luke Gallowsbetter known as The Good Brothersare officially gone.

Fightful Selects Sean Ross Sapp confirmed on February 8, 2025, that WWE has released the duo, making them the latest high-profile names to hit free agency.

Anderson and Gallows returned to WWE in October 2022, reuniting with AJ Styles as The O.C., but their second stint in the company never took off. Despite a few big moments early on, WWE creative didnt seem to have long-term plans for them, leading to long stretches of inactivity.

This release marks the second time WWE has cut them, following their first departure in 2020 after WrestleMania 36. With The Good Brothers back on the free-agent market, several promotions will be looking to bring them in.

  • NJPW: The duo built their reputation in Japan, winning three IWGP Tag Team Championships and playing a massive role in Bullet Clubs rise. A return to NJPW would make perfect sense, especially with their history there.
  • AEW: The Young Bucks have always had a strong connection with Anderson and Gallows, and a reunion in AEW could be on the table. They made a few appearances for the company before re-signing with WWE, so the door might still be open.
  • TNA Wrestling: The Good Brothers dominated TNAs tag division during their last run, even winning the Impact Tag Team Titles. With the company making major moves lately, TNA could be a serious option.

The Good Brothers exit comes after Isla Dawn confirmed her release from WWE, adding her name to a growing list that already includes:

  • Akam & Rezar (AOP)
  • Paul Ellering
  • Cedric Alexander
  • Sonya Deville
  • Blair Davenport

With WrestleMania season in full swing, WWEs latest round of cuts is raising eyebrows, and more departures could be on the horizon.
