WWE is obviously the biggest pro wrestling company in the world and its presence on social media is simply without any equal, especially when it comes to Twitter. However, WWE doesnt really have any presence on Bluesky and the reason behind WWE not having any presence there has been revealed.

WWE signed a major deal with Elon Musks Twitter platform in early 2024, making Speed, WWEs first new weekly series under the Triple H era, exclusive to Twitter. Despite Bluesky having over 31 million users, including major brands, sports leagues, and celebrities, WWE does not have an official presence on the platform.

According to Fightful Select, no company officials have directly told talent to avoid Bluesky, but WWEs absence is linked to its exclusive deal with Twitter. It was added that other major sports organizations, such as the NFL and UFC, are also not on Bluesky.

The NFL even requested the New England Patriots remove their account, though it was suggested the league is holding out for a potential financial agreement rather than concerns about Musk. WWE has not engaged in any official negotiations with Bluesky, and for now, its two-year agreement with Speed remains the key factor behind WWEs lack of presence on the social media platform.

WWE has not talked with Bluesky yet and is focused on its two-year deal with Twitter. The company might join Bluesky in the future if it fits their digital plans and brings financial benefits in the long term, so well have to see if that will happen in the end.

What do you think about WWEs decision to stay off Bluesky? Should they explore other platforms, or is their Twitter deal the best move for the company? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
