Jordan Spieth is satisfied with his last performance at the Phoenix Open, motivated to make great results in the weeks ahead. The American golfer finished 4th in the last tournament, although he had many problems with his game the previous season.
Jordan recovered from wrist surgery, aiming for bigger results.
Spieth came close to winning the tournament this week, but three shots under par secured him fourth place.
In an interview with the media, the American golfer stressed that these results are an important step for him, feeling great since the first day of the tournament.
All in all, it was a big progress week for me, Spieth said, as quoted by METRO.
I didnt feel like this was a one-off.'
Jordan Spieth talks about his potential
Although he did not enter this tournament optimistic that he could make a positive result, he caught a great rhythm from the beginning, realized that he could compete with the best golfers of this tournament, and used the moment he had.

However, Jordan surprised many by saying that he did not play with 100% potential, which could mean that this 31-year-old can achieve even better results in the future.
'It felt like this is just trending the right direction. Im pretty realistic with myself on that. My expectations have been low, like Ive mentioned. Just
trying to get a little bit better each time.
I had certainly less than 100 percent of my potential this week as far as structure and what Im trying to do. I hit a lot of good putts today that didnt go in.
Jordan admits he feels like he's taken a bit of a load off his back after the first few days. He pointed out that he wants to carry over his form to the next weekend, and in the future he wants to fight for the top positions. This tournament is an indication that Spieth can really do it.
