Yealimi Noh, an American golfer of Asian origin, celebrated at the Founders Cup, winning her first LPGA Tour title. In fierce competition, the 23-year-old golfer finished 21 shots under par.
Fans of women's golf were a little surprised at how great she played, and a little disappointed considering that Nelly Korda, Jin Young Ko, and many top female golfers did not show what was expected.
After the match, Noh said that even before the start of this tournament, she had the feeling that this was her year.
"This means so much to me," she said, as quoted by Sky Sports.
The 23-year-old golfer has been trying her best to emerge at the top in recent years. Although her attempts were often unsuccessful, the moment came when the American golfer showed the world what a talented golfer she is.

"I worked really hard the past few years and went through a lot of struggles.
I told myself 2025 is going to be my year, so this is the best way to start it."

Jin Young Ko had the lead at one point, making her third birdie on the par-5 eighth. However, she then suffered a setback, making two big mistakes that her opponent took advantage of. Noh birdied the holes where Ko made mistakes, leaving her calm until the very end.
Noh had words of praise for Ko, emphasizing that she knew what to expect from her opponent. However, she did not let the pressure get to her, finishing the tournament in style.
"Being paired with Jin Young for the last two days, it was my first time playing with her [Saturday] and it was awesome to watch," Noh said.

"I knew she wasn't going to make any mistakes and be really solid. When I saw my opportunity and I kept it together, I was really proud of myself. It was awesome to watch her play and learn from her, too."
