Carlito shocked the world when he made his return during the 2021 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, but it was a short-lived one. Fans had to wait until the 2023 Backlash event for him to come back again and he has been a permanent fixture since then. That being said, Carlito has now addressed whether he ever considered going to AEW before he came back to WWE in 2021.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Carlito was asked if he ever considered joining AEW before returning to WWE in 2021. He explained that loyalty is important to him and that he has always been a WWE guy.
The Judgment Day member stated that he liked the idea of staying with one company for his entire career and wanted to remain with WWE for as long as possible. Ultimately, he hopes to finish his career there.
In todays wrestling world, many wrestlers move between different promotions, but Carlito has stayed loyal to WWE. His commitment shows his respect for the company and its history, making him one of the most dedicated veterans on the roster and its clearly paying off in a big way for him.
Carlito remains part of The Judgment Day on Monday Night RAW and always gets a ton of attention every single week. Therefore, it is not really hard to see why he never considered joining AEW and wants to end his career in WWE.
