Tegan Nox was released by WWE in November 2024 after being off television since April. While she continued wrestling at live events and dark matches until July, she remained absent from TV.
In an interview with Metro, Tegan Nox explained that she had been seriously ill for a period, though doctors never gave her a clear diagnosis. She underwent multiple tests, hospital visits, and medical evaluations but believed stress played a significant role in her condition.
Nox stated that while she recovered and was cleared to wrestle, miscommunication between WWEs doctors, outside medical professionals, and hospitals led to extended time off. She felt that her necessary break for health reasons turned into an unnecessary absence from WWE programming.
Despite being on medication and ready to return, WWE never brought her back, leading her to believe she would be released much earlier than she actually was.
Tegan Nox is currently a free agent after her 90-day non-compete clause expired. Now that Tegan Nox is no longer with WWE, fans are curious about her next move. With promotions like AEW, TNA, and various independent wrestling companies providing new opportunities, she could soon find a solid start in a different promotion.
