The Belgian stressed at the press conference that his goal is to play well and continue in the same rhythm. What surprised many was Detry's statement that he wants to become like Scottie Scheffler one day.
My goals are just to keep playing well and keep putting myself in contention and hopefully improve in these situations. Like when Im under pressure and when Im in contention, just keep getting better at it, and hopefully Ill be like Scottie Scheffler one day.- he said.
It is hard to expect that anyone will follow the pace of Scheffler, who, despite a slightly worse performance in the last tournament, is still the best player on the PGA Tour. However, he will have to show it in this season as well.
