Ons Jabeur is showing her funny side once again as the 30-year-old says if she fails to become a Grand Slam champion, she will simply have a baby and make her kid achieve that feat.

Although the current world No. 30 had a pretty rough 2024 due to injuries, it doesn't change the fact that she has still been one of the best players on the Tour over the last couple of years.

While she managed to make three Grand Slam finals in a span of one year, Jabeur has yet to achieve her biggest tennis dream after losing back-to-back Wimbledon finals in 2022 and 2023, as well as falling short in the 2022 US Open final.

At this past Australian Open, Madison Keys landed her first Major title at the age of 29 - just one month before turning 30.

Asked about it at this week's WTA 1000 tournament in Doha, the Tunisian said that the American deserved her success - that it was an inspiring story - and also highlighted that she hasn't given up on her dream of winning a Slam.

Jabeur: Every player has its own... Mine Slam win hasn't come yet, hopefully it will

"She's younger, but it's okay. Who is counting? (Laughing)," the 30-year-old said.

"I mean, obviously every player has their own path, and she inspired us all when she won her first Grand Slam, and I wish her all the best. Everybody knows Madison play unbelievable tennis, and she truly deserved that Australian Open.

"Everybody creates their own story. I feel like I'm going to discover more in my path and see what's going to happen.

"I tried my best to win my first Grand Slam, it hasn't come yet, but hopefully it will come soon, or when it's supposed to come, but I know that I'm doing everything in my power to be there.

"If not, then I'll have a baby and make her win the first Grand Slam! (Laughing)."

In the 2022 Wimbledon final, Jabeur was up by a set before Elena Rybakina stormed back to win in three sets.

Two months later, the Tunisian lost to Iga Swiatek in straight sets in the US Open final.

In the summer of 2023, the former world No. 2 was beaten by Marketa Vondrousova in her second Wimbledon final and burst into tears afterward.

At the start of 2025, Jabeur fell short to Emma Navarro in the Australian Open third round.
