The fifth round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup wasn't chock-full of surprise results, but the final eight big hitters will certainly make for an exciting list of quarter-final fixtures.
Chelsea were able to survive an early scare as Everton took the lead at Kingsmeadow, before the English Champions triumphed 4-1 in the end. Man City and Man United made light work of their opponents, flying through to the quarter final stages in dominant fashion.
Arsenal got the job done over London City Lionesses despite a spirited performance from the Championship side, and Aston Villa managed to defeat Women's Super League (WSL) opponents Brighton in order to book their place in the final eight.
A valiant effort from Rugby Borough saw them drop a 2-0 loss at home to top-flight Liverpool, but their FA Cup campaign is something to be extremely proud of.
Sunderland got the job done over ten-player Portsmouth in a 2-0 victory on the south coast. As for Crystal Palace, Laura Kaminski's Eagles managed to secure a 2-0 win over Championship side Newcastle down in south-London.
