The LPGA makes changes year after year, wanting women's golf to progress and make big strides. Even eight years ago, LPGA officials surprised many after deciding to change the dress code policy.
Namely, women were not allowed to wear tops with backs, leggings, plunging necklines and workout clothes.
These changes did not meet with positive reactions among female golfers, but also among sports fans.
The LPGA also shared that under the new rules, women must wear skirts and shorts that are long enough.
Paige Spiranac, a well-known name in the golf scene, reacted to such things, believing that the rules are there to be respected. Nevertheless, the 31-year-old expressed her concern for the progress of this sport in the future after such changes.
