Arriving on Australian soil is always a huge motivation for LIV Golfers to achieve success, especially those who come from that country. Although Australia has not attracted the attention of the golfing public until now, LIV leaders have decided to open a new chapter, giving enormous importance to this area.
LIV Golf has several golfers from Australia, who wait for this tournament with a smile every year.
This year's tournament in Adelaide will start in two days, and it seems that Cameron Smith, probably the best golfer from that country, wants to do great things.
In an interview with the media, the 31-year-old said that he wants to celebrate again in the team playoff, just like last year.
It kind of felt like you were trying to get it done for Australia, Smith said, as quoted by The West.

Just the amount of people that were all on your side was pretty unique. Ive never really felt like that before where everyone is leaning on you to get it done.
Marc Leishman reacts
Cameron is also the captain of the Ripper GC team, which consists exclusively of Australians. Among them are Matt Jones, Lucas Herbert and Marc Leishman.
Playing in Saudi Arabia, the players from his team excelled, and were particularly successful when it comes to the team aspect, finishing in second place.
Leishman, one of the team members, stressed that they worked hard, believing that they could succeed at the first event. However, such a start is a wind at the back and a great motivation for the Australians to achieve even greater success on home soil.
We put in a fair bit of work earlier this year just to try and be ready for that first event, we had a training camp in Miami where we all practised for a week just so we didnt feel underdone at that first event. You put the work in, and you dont know if you are going to get the results straight away, so it was nice to get a good result first up.-Leishman said.

Herbert also shares the same sentiments, admitting that the team aspect is a completely different experience than what he is used to. Herbert is delighted when the team achieves success, since every individual within the team celebrates, there is a positive atmosphere, and it is clear that LIV leaders have done a great job in creating a team aspect of the game in this league.
