TNA Wrestling announced a leadership shakeup that includes a new president, an Emmy-winning executive producer, and the exit of two longtime names from the company.
In an official statement released Wednesday evening, TNA confirmed that Carlos Silva is stepping in as the new president of the company.
George Veras, a ten-time Emmy Award winner and the president and CEO of Pro Football Hall of Fame Enterprises, has been named the new Executive Producer of Anthem Sports Group. He also serves as president of Veras Communications, Incorporated.
But the biggest shock came with the departure of Josh Mathews and Christy Hemme. Both have been key figures in TNA, with Mathews serving in various roles, including commentator and producer, while Hemme made her mark as a ring announcer and backstage personality.
Josh Mathews and Christy Hemme are no longer with the company. We appreciate their commitment to TNA throughout the years and wish them well in their future endeavors, the company stated via PWInsider.
This major restructuring raises questions about the future direction of TNA Wrestling as they continue to rebrand and reposition themselves in the industry.
