Jon Moxley is set to defend the AEW World Championship against Adam Copeland at AEW Revolution on March 9 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The match was made official on the February 12 episode of AEW Dynamite after a chaotic scene involving Cope, Jay White, and a stolen championship briefcase.
Cope and White took Moxleys title briefcase and threatened to crack it open using Spikea spiked 24. Just as they were about to make good on their threat, Moxley stepped up and agreed to the match. But he didnt stop there. Moxley made it clear hes not just fighting to retain the belthes looking to make a statement.
Before things could settle, The Death RidersClaudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, and Marina Shafirambushed Cope and White, reclaiming the briefcase. Despite the numbers game, Cope and White fought back and stood tall when the dust settled, proving they arent backing down ahead of the AEW Revolution showdown.
