This weeks episode of WWE SmackDown will be exciting as the road to WrestleMania 41 continues. With the Elimination Chamber event coming up on March 1, WWE is setting up important matches, but it appears that the February 14th edition of SmackDown will not feature Joe Tessitore, who will be absent from the show.

SmackDowns usual announcer, Joe Tessitore, will not be on the show because he has work with ESPN. On the same night, ESPN will be showing a live boxing event featuring Berinchyk vs. Keyshawn at Madison Square Garden. Because of this, Tessitore will be busy with ESPN, and WWE will need to find someone else to take his place.

WWE has not officially said who will replace him, but many expect Michael Cole to step in. Cole has been a WWE commentator for many years, so he is a good choice to handle the job for the night.

Joe Tessitore has excelled in his role as a commentator on Friday Night SmackDown alongside Wade Barrett, so fans will definitely miss him during this weeks show, but he is expected to return to his duties next week.

Nevertheless, SmackDown will take place at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. With big matches and Elimination Chamber spots on the line, this will be a must-watch episode as WWE builds toward WrestleMania 41.

Do you think Michael Cole is the right choice to replace Joe Tessitore? Would you like to see someone else fill in for the night? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
