Michelle McCool is a well-known name in pro wrestling, especially as The Undertakers wife. However, this also brings a lot of unwanted attention from fans, especially at airports. Unsurprisingly, she has now called out fans who chase wrestlers in public places, especially airports.
Meeting wrestlers at airports has become a problem for many stars. While casual fan interactions are usually fine, some people go to airports just to get autographs and sell them online. This has upset wrestlers, who feel taken advantage of by those more interested in making money than being real fans.
In the past, a video showed Rey Mysterio without his mask, refusing to sign because the fan was clearly trying to profit. Rhea Ripley also dealt with this, getting surrounded by fans at an airport and sharing her frustration.
While speaking toChris Van Vliet, Michelle McCool talked about being noticed at airports and said its simply awful. She joked that being married meant she could wear whatever heels she wanted and get occasional security perks at the airport. While traveling on the road, people often recognized them, but she found it crazy how some fans dont respect boundaries.
McCool acknowledged that she appreciates and loves the fans, and even todays superstars feel the same way. However, when people start chasing or following them, especially with kids around, it becomes too much.
Even Drew McIntyre getsannoyed by fans forcing autographs at airports. Regardless, many fans will agree with what Michelle McCool had to say as no one has the right to invade a wrestlers boundaries no matter what, especially in public places like airports.
