Karl Anderson isnt wasting any time rebranding himself after his WWE exit, and his latest trademark filings might have just revealed his next move.
Anderson, who was released in February 2025 alongside his longtime tag partner Luke Gallows, recently filed two trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The filings, submitted under MG Karl Anderson, LLC on February 12, 2025, include the terms AKA and AUTOMATIC.
While he hasnt made an official statement about his future, these trademarks seem to hint at a new nickname, possibly shifting from his long-standing Machine Gun persona to Automatic Karl Anderson. The initials AKA could also be a nod to this evolution.
The trademark descriptions cover a broad range of wrestling-related entertainment, including televised appearances, live performances, and online interviews. This suggests Anderson isnt stepping away from the industry anytime soon.
After making his name in Impact Wrestling, AEW, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Anderson returned to WWE in October 2022. However, he had been out of action since September 2024 due to an injury when the company released him.
