The Undertaker has addressed his decision to attend Super Bowl LIX alongside Vince McMahon, standing by his longtime friend despite McMahons ongoing legal troubles.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, The Deadman made it clear that while he understands the backlash, his loyalty to McMahon remains.
I was his guest, yeah. Look, Im gonna get hate for that. People are like, Oh you guys were so close, you know what happened, Im like I dont know what hasnt been done, we dont talk about those things. But he is a friend of mine, Undertaker explained.
He reflected on his decades-long relationship with McMahon, crediting him for changing his life.
First off, he gave me an opportunity to make something of my life and become something. Through the course of all of those years, we became friends. After my father passed away, he was a father figure, he was a brother, he was a mentor.
While McMahon resigned from WWE and TKO in January 2024 following a lawsuit that accused him of sexual assault and sex trafficking, The Undertaker made it clear that he isnt judging his friends situation.
I dont know everything thats happened, whats gone on, and Im not the judge on this case. Theres only one judge, thats the man upstairs. Hes gonna give us all whatever we deserve in the end, and thats what it is. I think people in glass houses shouldnt throw stones I dont have to agree with everything that people do, but it doesnt change the fact that I love somebody, and Im friends with somebody.
Whether you agree with The Undertaker or not, one thing is clearhes standing by Vince McMahon no matter what. Loyalty runs deep in pro wrestling, but with McMahons legal troubles far from over, this friendship is bound to keep turning heads.
