It looks like WrestleMania 42 is heading to New Orleans, and WWE is expected to make it official before this years WrestleMania 41.
According to WrestleVotes, WWE is set to reveal the host city soon, and Fightful Select has heard that The Big Easy is the frontrunner. Sources say this has actually been the plan for years, with the idea dating back to the previous WWE regime. However, with the uncertainty surrounding WrestleMania 41s location last year, some within the company thought plans could shift.
That doesnt seem to be the case anymore. Multiple WWE partners have reportedly been informed that New Orleans is the plan, barring any unforeseen changes.
If confirmed, this will mark the third time New Orleans has hosted WrestleMania, following WrestleMania 30 in 2014 and WrestleMania 34 in 2018. Both events delivered unforgettable moments, from Daniel Bryans miracle win to The Undertakers shocking Streak-ending loss to Brock Lesnar.
With the announcement looming, all signs point to WWE bringing its biggest event back to one of its most legendary venues.
Do you think New Orleans is the right choice for WrestleMania 42, or should WWE take it somewhere new? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
