Carlito has no plans to take his talents anywhere elsewhen the time comes, he wants to retire in WWE.
Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the former United States Champion made it clear that he values loyalty and sees himself finishing his career with the company that made him a star.
I have a thing with loyalty. Ive only ever been a WWE guy, I always kind of liked it, being a one-company guy, Carlito said. As long as theyll have me, I think Ill always try to stay loyal to WWE as long as I could. And honestly, Id like to end my career with them.
While he hasnt mapped out exactly how he wants to go out, Carlito threw out an idea that could give him a memorable sendoff.
You know, I havent thought that far ahead. You know what itd probably be? Itd be a hair match, like hair vs something, hair vs mustache against Dominik [Mysterio]. Yeah, and then maybe Ill get my head shaved and ride off into the sunset.
Carlitos career has already seen him defeat John Cena in his WWE debut, share the ring with legends like Roddy Piper and Steve Austin at WrestleMania 21, and make a surprising return in 2021 before officially rejoining WWE full-time in 2023. Now, hes focused on whats nextbut when the time comes to hang up his boots, hes staying in WWE.
