According to many, Greg Norman did great things as CEO of LIV Golf. However, the seasoned figure of the golf scene did not last as long as expected, after he was succeeded by Scott O'Neil. The new CEO of LIV Golf surprised many during the Adelaide event by saying that LIV is a league where, in addition to the Majors, you can only watch the world's best players.

This immediately caused reactions from the public, which is not impressed by such statements of the new CEO.
Rex Hoggard reacts
Rex Hoggard, speaking on the Golf Channel Podcast, pointed out that O'Neil should not have shared such comments, especially when we know that LIV and the PGA Tour are in negotiations regarding the final deal. It is also a bit bizarre that O'Neil stressed immediately after his statements that a final agreement would be reached, with the goal of progressing golf.
Hoggard continues, recalling the statements of Adam Scott and Tiger Woods, who shared optimistic views regarding the final deal, while on the other hand LIV CEO seemed to want to 'poke' the other side.
Such an approach can hardly enable him to gain sympathy from the entire planet, especially when we know that the PGA has a bigger fan base than the Saudi-backed Tour.

I felt like it was an unnecessary stray because where we are right now, were coming off of what was, by all accounts, a good week at the front of the house."- Hoggard said.
It is difficult to give the right answer when and whether an agreement will be reached between the two warring parties. Although both sides share optimistic messages, it seems as if tensions and the desire for superiority on the golf scene are still felt. If, on the other hand, we looked at the situation in a unique way, that is, looking at this story as a benefit for everyone, it would bring much better results.
