Vince Russo has never been shy about his opinions on WWEs creative direction, and now, hes officially put a time limit on his critiques.
The former WWE head writer took to Twitter on February 21, 2025, to reveal that hell be retiring from watching WWE programming entirelygiving himself just 11 more months to tell it like it is.
As my retirement plan now comes into form, I can tell you that on my 65th birthday I will stop watching any and all WWF programming for good, Russo tweeted. So, that leaves about 11 more months of me being one of the only podcasters who will be brutally honest with you about the poor, underachieving, creative quality of the show. So, enjoy the honesty and truth while you can.
Russos announcement comes just days after he ripped into Triple Hs booking of Lyra Valkyria, slamming WWE for having the Womens Intercontinental Champion lose to Bayley before ever defending her title. He questioned Triple Hs writing ability, calling the move baffling and something that never would have happened on Vinces time.
With less than a year left before he pulls the plug on WWE, Russo isnt backing down. Whether you love him or hate him, one thing is clearhes going to go out swinging.
Will WWEs creative direction change Russos mind before his deadline? Or is he truly done for good? Drop your thoughts below!
