Manchester United are aiming to avoid further embarrassment on Saturday when they visit Everton in the Premier League.

The Red Devils have lost three of their last four Premier League matches and have slumped to a humiliating 15th in the table following last weekend's frustrating defeat against fellow strugglers Tottenham Hotspur. Pressure grows on Ruben Amorim with every passing week and the loss in north London marked his ninth defeat as United head coach already.

Morale is at an all-time low for the Manchester giants and injuries leave Amorim short on options across his underachieving squad. The trip to face a resurgent and confident Everton side at Goodison Park has come at an awful time.

The Toffees have been in exceptional form since the return of former United manager David Moyes to the dugout, with a string of impressive Premier League results lifting the Merseyside outfit above Saturday's opponents in the table. They are now 13 points clear of the drop zone and could finish the weekend as high as 12th.

Here is 90min's guide to a crunch clash on Merseyside.

Everton team news

Both sides enter this fixture with a mountain of injuries and Everton's fitness issues largely come in the final third. They are without Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Youssef Chermiti and Armando Broja in the forward department, although the excellent form of Beto does ease their problems.

Dwight McNeil and Iliman Ndiaye are Everton's chief creators but both will miss the visit of United, while central midfielder Orel Mangala is out for the remainder of the campaign.

While a centre-back by trade, Jake O'Brien will continue at right-back given injuries to Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson.

Ruben Amorim confirmed in his Friday news conference that Leny Yoro, Christian Eriksen and Manuel Ugarte are back and available after injury - the latter a particular boost given the continued lethargy of Casemiro.

United do still have a whole host of absentees, however, most notably Lisandro Martinez, Kobbie Mainoo, Luke Shaw and Amad Diallo, who had been a saving grace for Amorim but will be absent for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.

Jonny Evans, Mason Mount and Toby Collyer are also unavailable.

Everton vs Man Utd score prediction

There will never be a better opportunity for Everton to claim victory over United at Goodison, with the Red Devils short on confidence and in dire form. They have managed just 13 points on the road this term with only three victories away from Old Trafford.

Goals have been hard to come by in recent weeks and Everton will prove a stubborn side to break down, happy to sit back and hit United on the counter-attack. The roars of the home crowd could spur Moyes' men on to another famous home win before they head off to their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Prediction: Everton 1-0 Man Utd
