With the win in Paris earning her the point needed to qualify for the LPGA Hall of Fame, she became the youngest person to qualify. In an interview for the Olympics, the New Zealand golfer confirmed that she went to the tatoo artist in Korea, wanting her skin to also remember the successes she made.
She tattooed, on the recommendation of a tattoo artist, three important locations where she won the Olympics, so her skin now has Mount Fuji (Tokyo), Christ the Redeemer (Rio de Janeiro) and the Eiffel Tower (Paris).
In addition, the size of the tattoo is proportional to the success at the Olympics, so the Eiffel Tower is the largest because she won gold there.
Fans were delighted with the creativity of both her and the tattoo artist.
