Jeff Hardy is looking to rewrite his WWE legacy, and according to his brother Matt Hardy, this return is personal.

The Hardy Boyz are set to step back into a WWE ring on February 25 for an appearance on NXT, where they will represent TNA Wrestling against Tavion Heights and Myles Borne. While fans are excited to see the iconic duo back on WWE programming, Jeffs mindset heading into this moment is all about redemption.

Matt Hardy opened up on his podcast about how quickly everything came together, saying, Really excited about this, man. All this stuffeven us popping up and responding to that challenge on NXTthat was a very last-minute thing. So its going to be interesting. Its going to be fun. He admitted that even he isnt sure where this opportunity could lead, adding, I dont know where this rides going. I really dont want to know where this route is going in all capacities. Because I want, especially whatever we end up doing, I want everything to be as natural and as organic and as real as possible, as authentic as possible.

For Jeff Hardy, though, this isnt just another matchits a shot at redemption after his WWE exit in December 2021, when he walked out mid-match at a live event. His run in AEW didnt go as planned, and now, the Charismatic Enigma wants to prove himself once again on the big stage. Hes even expressed interest in returning full-time and believes he could be the one to retire CM Punk before heading into the Hall of Fame.

Matt made it clear that Jeff is focused on making things right. Hes very happy to be going back, and I feel like he wants to right the wrongs. He wants to leave on a good noteno more erratic behavior. He wants to go back and show them who he is.

Matt also suggested that WWE waited to work with The Hardys as part of the TNA partnership because they wanted to see how Jeff would handle himself in TNA Wrestling first.

Jeffs WWE return could be the first step in repairing his past mistakes and reminding the world why hes one of the most beloved wrestlers of his generation.
