The fight to save Hooters just got another heavyweight supporter. Following Enzo Amores public plea for billionairesand even WWEs parent company, TKO Groupto step in and save the struggling restaurant chain, former TNA Champion Nic Nemeth has now joined the cause.
Shortly after Amores passionate February 22 tweet, Nemeth took to Twitter himself, signaling his support. We got you @Hooters, he wrote, adding, please tell me who made this, so I can give credit where it is due.
Attached to his tweet was a screenshot of a business Instagram chat, where a mystery fan had sent Hooters a bold message: How much do you need? I will NOT let this happen. The image, which quickly made the rounds online, captured the kind of die-hard devotion the brand still commands despite its financial struggles.
Hooters is reportedly preparing for a potential bankruptcy filing, with sources suggesting a Chapter 11 decision could come within the next two months. The restaurant chain has been facing declining customer traffic, mounting debt, and the closure of multiple locations.
Despite the dire outlook, Nemeth and Amore arent ready to let the iconic wing spot go without a fight. Amore was the first to sound the alarm, writing, Hooters has filed for Bankruptcy and Im broken up bout it!! WE CANT LET HOOTERS DIE! He then pushed for WWE and UFCs parent company to take action, tweeting, THERES SO MANY BILLIONAIRES SOMEBODY GOTTA STEP UP @TKOGrp should 100% BUY #HOOTERS AND MAKE IT THE OFFICIAL RESTAURANT OF @WWE & @ufc.
The future of Hooters is uncertain, but with wrestling stars now getting involved, the conversation around saving it is growing louder.
