Moose showing up in WWE NXT was a moment no one saw coming, and now Matt Hardy is sharing his thoughts on the TNA stars unexpected crossover.
During the February 18 episode of NXT, Moose made a surprise appearance, stepping up to NXT Champion Oba Femi in a tense confrontation. But Femi didnt let it slide, firing back on the February 20 edition of TNA iMPACT!, where he laid out Moose and The System in a brutal retaliation.
Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy acknowledged how much the moment meant to Moose, saying, I was happy for him. He was a big fan of WWE and WWE is something he loves. Most people who get into wrestling typically have loved WWE when they were younger or in their earlier years or whatever it may be. It was very important to him that he wanted to one day do something in WWE, so I think just getting to check off his bucket list that he got to appear on a WWE event was a very cool moment for him. I was happy for him that he got that moment.
With WWE and TNAs working relationship creating new crossover moments, Mooses NXT appearance could be just the beginning. Whether this was a one-off or the start of something bigger remains to be seen, but for Moose, it was clearly a personal milestone.
