Anyone who follows the Greek tennis star on social media knows that the former world No. 3 has never shied away from posting deep, inspirational, or at times even philosophical messages.

Also, Tsitsipas has no issues with sharing how he feels during certain periods or things.

"I tried meditating this morning, but my brain wouldnt stop narrating a documentary about all the ways Ive embarrassed myself since 2004," the two-time Grand Slam finalist wrote on X.

Tsitsipas candidly opened up after his Australian Open exit

After a rough 2024 season, the Greek's 2025 didn't start well either after he suffered a four-set loss to Alex Michelsen in the Australian Open first round.

Following the loss, the 26-year-old said that he was "hit by karma" as he refused to play doubles in Melbourne because he wanted to stay fresh for a deep run.

Also, Tsitsipas very honestly admitted that something simply changed in the way he looks at tennis.

"For sure, I had a fresher mind back then. It seemed like I was hungrier in a completely different way than I am now," the current world No. 11 said after his early loss in Melbourne.

"I would definitely say that one thing that stood out the most back then is that I had this hunger to try and make a life out of tennis and to try to have a good beginning in my tennis career and my tennis journey. It's different than it is now."

Since then, Tsitsipas reached the Rotterdam quarterfinal and also lost in the Doha first round.

Now, the Greek tennis star is set to play in Dubai, where he meets Lorenzo Sonego in the first round.
