Becky Lynch has been off WWE television for months, leaving fans speculating about when The Man will finally make her comeback. She last appeared on the May 27 episode of Raw, and while shes reportedly signed a new contract, her return has yet to materialize. Now, new details have emerged about why Lynch hasnt stepped back into the ring just yet.
During the Fightful Select Q&A podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked if Becky Lynch is ever going to return. His response made it clear that her absence isnt due to injury or contract disputesits all about WWE creative still figuring out a plan.
I mean, for real, she signed, shes healthy, Sapp explained. I believe shes still awaiting creative, and I think theyve thrown some ideas back-and-forth. I know that she was signed and they wanted to get her involved with WrestleMania plans. Im not sure what degree though, but yeah, shes gonna come back.
The fact that WWE has yet to lock in a storyline for Lynch is surprising, especially with WrestleMania 41 just weeks away. Typically, a talent of her stature would have a clear direction set in place, but as of now, the specifics of her return remain unclear.
Lynch has been one of WWEs biggest stars for nearly a decade, and her presence has been noticeably absent during the companys transition into the Netflix era.
