A resurgent Wolves aim to secure back-to-back wins in the Premier League on Tuesday night when they welcome Fulham to Molineux.

After giving Liverpool a scare at Anfield two Sundays ago, Vitor Pereira's side secured an impressive 1-0 victory at Bournemouth on Saturday. They doubtlessly benefitted from the hosts being reduced to ten men in the first half, but the contest was more than competitive before Illia Zabarnyi's dismissal.

Wolves' new additions have supplied the required freshness, and Saturday's win saw them move five points clear of the drop zone.

Fulham's inconsistency reared its ugly head at the weekend as they followed up a 2-1 triumph over Nottingham Forest with a 2-0 home loss to Crystal Palace. The Cottagers were comprehensively beaten by one of the Premier League's best travelling teams, but their inability to string wins together is compromising their bid to play in Europe next season.

Marco Silva's men are tenth in the table and still well in the hunt for a European spot, but they can ill-afford a blip now.

Here is 90min's guide to Tuesday's clash.

Rayan Ait-Nouri was on the receiving end of Zabarnyi's challenge which eventually warranted a red card, and the exuberant wing-back was later forced off on Saturday with a knock. He's a doubt for Tuesday's game, with the quick turnaround working against him.

Jorgen Strand Larsen recently returned from his injury setback and should lead the line at Molineux, but the hosts are still without Hwang Hee-chan, Sasa Kalajdzic, Yerson Mosquera, Leon Chiwone, and Enso Gonzalez.

January arrival Emmanuel Agbadou is also a doubt, so we could see another newbie, Nasser Djiga, start in Pereira's back three.

It looks like Silva will have to do some rejigging in midfield after Emile Smith Rowe and Tom Cairney picked up knocks at the weekend. Cairney was forced off after coming on in the second half.

The pair are doubts for the visit to Molineux, with Andreas Pereira a contender to return to the manager's XI if Smith Rowe isn't fit.

The visitors will certainly be without Harry Wilson, Reiss Nelson, and Kenny Tete on Tuesday night.

Wolves vs Fulham score prediction

Wolves were the second-biggest January spenders in the Premier League, and the early signs suggest their active winter will pay off. The contributions of their new additions, apart from Agbadou, haven't yet been particularly notable, but Pereira's side appear a much more confident unit compared to a month ago.

They've won two of their previous three and were excellent in the second half at Liverpool in their recent 2-1 defeat. The hosts also tore Fulham apart in the reverse fixture while Gary O'Neil was still in charge.

While the Cottagers typically bounce back from setbacks and aren't a team for a prolonged malaise, this is a tricky away trip for them. An expectant Molineux greets Pereira's side on Tuesday, and Wolves look set to deliver on home soil.

Prediction: Wolves 2-1 Fulham
