On the Feb. 24 episode of Raw just ahead of the Elimination Chamber this Saturday, Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez become three-time WWE Womens Tag Team Champions as a team. They defeated Bianca Belair & Naomi in the main event that received this is awesome chants from the crowd in Cincinnati. This ends Belairs reign at 178 days and Naomis as her partner at 74 days.
The feud between these two teams surround the attack on Jade Cargill from three months ago. Despite never taking ownership of the attack, Belair & Naomi blame Morgan & Rodriguez. The match itself culminated with Dominik Mysterio getting involved which allowed Rodriguez to do a lot of damage control to help out Morgan. Morgan would pin Naomi to win.
This makes Rodriguez a four-time tag team champion. Three with Morgan and once with Aliyah. She also held the NXT Womens Tag Team Titles twice with Dakota Kai.
The show went off the air with the new champions celebrating in the ring as pyro went off behind them. Cargill did not make an appearance.
Morgan, Naomi, and Belair will be in the Elimination Chamber match this Saturday. Joining them are Alexa Bliss, Bayley, and Roxanne Perez. The winner will face either Rhea Ripley OR IYO SKY at WrestleMania for the Womens World Title.
