The legal troubles for WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sunny Sytch arent over yet, as the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the estate of Julian Lasseter is officially heading to trial on March 25 in Florida.
The lawsuit, which seeks damages exceeding $30,000, stems from the fatal March 2022 crash in which Sytch, allegedly under the influence, rear-ended Lasseters vehicle, causing injuries that led to his death. The complaint outlines the emotional and financial devastation suffered by Lasseters family, including his adult daughter, who has endured the loss of companionship, guidance, and support.
Sytch, who pleaded no contest to DUI manslaughter and other related charges, is currently serving a 17-year prison sentence in Ocala, Florida, with a projected release date of November 2, 2039. Despite expressing remorse during her sentencing, her request to serve her sentences concurrently was denied, ensuring she remains behind bars for the full term.
Adding to the controversy, WWE has not officially removed Sytch from its Hall of Fame, making her the first inductee to serve a felony conviction post-induction.
