Paige Spiranac, a person who will never cease to captivate the public's attention, is once again in the spotlight. The famous influencer reacted via social media to slowplay, more precisely to AimPoint, a green-reading technique. However, reacting via X, she pointed out that individuals could perhaps use AimPoint quite differently, believing that this is where the main problem lies.
Lucas Glover, another well-known face of the golf scene, reacted to AimPoint, believing that a ban would be the best option. Since the creation of AimPoint, Glover has not noticed that individuals haven't made more putts.
"AimPoint, statistically, hasn't helped anybody make more putts since its inception on the PGA Tour," Glover said during the SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio show, as quoted by The News & Observer.
"Statistics have beared that out. It's also kinda rude to be up near the hole, stomping around, figuring out where the break is in your feet. It needs to be banned. It takes forever."
Collin Morikawa reacts
However, his reactions have not gone unnoticed by other golf personalities, such as one of the best golfers, Collin Morikawa. The Americn player pointed out that the other long putter used by Glover should also be banned. The situation in the golf scene seems tense, considering that many share different opinions and cannot agree on basic things.

Paige Spiranac raised her voice less than a month ago regarding the pace of play in golf, a problem that is increasingly becoming a serious one. The 31-year-old believes that slow play is a problem that has been quite pronounced recently.
"I'm going to say this about pace of play in professional golf," Spiranac wrote on X.
"If you can't play under 4 hours yourself then you have no room to complain. Slow play impacts both professional and amateur golf."
