In a conversation with the media before the start of the Cognizant Classic, the American golfer emphasized the moves of the PGA Tour, stressing that the PGA Tour is going through a period of transformation.
Their wish is to focus on social media, sponsors, marketing and other similar aspects, aware that they can make important steps this way. Spieth still isn't sure what the future of this Tour will look like, but steps like this are sure to be an optimism that things can look great.
An experienced name of the golf scene believes that fewer events is not a solution that should be imposed immediately, given that it is important to monitor the situation, and then make a definitive decision regarding the events.

Those are the three that need to be involved, as well as, obviously, finding the right situation for the players, being at the forefront of their mind. Its just figuring out exactly what the best future product model is, and well have to see what happens within future investments, what that means. Then everyone trying to if the game comes together ideally, then you kind of figure out what is the actual market, what is the right number of events, what is the right number in the events, and whether its more elevated type events but more players, or its back to what it used to be."

The experienced golfer is not sure if the current model will work, but he believes that this year will give the best answers about the success of the format. However, Spieth believes that some adjustments may be necessary, such as changes in the size of the fields and similar things.
