The former WWE star-turned-Hollywood powerhouse is part of a stacked lineup of presenters that also includes Harrison Ford, Gal Gadot, Andrew Garfield, Samuel L. Jackson, Margaret Qualley, Alba Rohrwacher, Zoe Saldaa, and Rachel Zegler.
Bautista has made a massive impact in Hollywood since leaving WWE, starring in major franchises like Guardians of the Galaxy, Dune, and Knock at the Cabin. This year, hes got an extra reason to celebrateDune: Part Two, in which he reprises his role as Rabban, is up for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Meanwhile, his former co-star Timothe Chalamet has landed a Best Actor nomination for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.
Beyond his Oscars gig, Bautista is keeping busy with new projects. Hes set to take on the lead role in Dreadnought, a sci-fi thriller where he plays a man fighting to stop an alien Sentinel from taking his dying sister. Directed by Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott, who previously worked with Bautista on Bushwick, the film is set to be another major step in his Hollywood evolution.
