Asuka is keeping herself busy, but it looks like shes still not ready to step back into the ring just yet. The former WWE Womens Champion took to Twitter on February 27 to fire off some entertaining tweets, and in the process, confirmed she hasnt been cleared to return to action.
She kicked things off by joking about the term IWC, which is commonly used to refer to the Internet Wrestling Community. But Asuka, always one to march to the beat of her own drum, had a different take.
I had never heard of IWC before. Usually, when people say IWC, they mean International Watch Company, right? Their watches are really cool!
Fans were immediately puzzled, with one even asking if she had been hacked. Thats when Asuka dropped the real bombshellshes still not cleared to wrestle, so shes making the most of her time by putting on a show on social media instead.
Since I cant step into the ring yet, Im putting on a show in the Twitter ring to entertain everyone. I turn everything into entertainment , she wrote.
While WWE has yet to announce an official timetable for Asukas return, her latest tweets suggest shes still on the mend. Asuka isnt just one of WWEs most skilled wrestlersshes also one of its most unique personalities. Whether shes in the ring or lighting up Twitter with her signature brand of chaos, she knows how to keep people entertained.
