Mercedes Mone isnt just playing the role of The C.E.O.shes looking to make it a reality. The former Sasha Banks has been building her legacy outside of WWE, and now she has her sights set on an even bigger goal: owning a wrestling company.
Speaking with Katee Sackhoff in a recent interview, Mone revealed that she wants to take her influence beyond the ring. I always said back in the day that I wanted to be a shareholder and be a part of helping and creating. So yeah, I definitely want to help own a wrestling company one day and be the woman of change and voice of change over there for any wrestling company that wants to have me.
Since leaving WWE, Mone has fully embraced her new identity, transitioning from The Boss to The C.E.O., a nickname that now seems more fitting than ever. Shes already making waves in AEW as the TBS Champion, but if she gets her way, she could be running the show in an even bigger way down the line.
With her star power, experience, and passion for the business, Mone stepping into an ownership role wouldnt be a shock. The question iswhere would she go, and what kind of company would she build?
