Jake Knapp surprised the golf public by performing at the Cognizant Classic in Florida, playing a great round under 60 shots, with 12-under 59. Few expected that the American could really make such a step, but the golfer who has high ambitions this year, showed that he is not afraid of anyone.

Knapp had a chance to tie the lowest round in PGA history, but his eagle putt on the 18th rolled wide.
In an interview with the media, Jake pointed out that he was focused from the first day, not wanting to overthink or overanalyze things. In one moment, he realized that he had caught the rhythm, and that he could be unstoppable in this tournament.
"I knew I had it going really early, but that can happen and then it can fizzle out pretty quickly," Knapp said, as quoted by BBC.
"I thought I did a good job of just trying to focus on shot by shot and not letting what happened or what could happen affect anything.
Once I made the long putt on 15, it was like, 'OK, now this is kind of here'. But at the same time, I didn't let it affect the gameplan or anything like that."

This great golfer can be optimistic, given that colleagues before him who were equally superior mostly celebrated in this tournament. There are four players behind him, but surprisingly none of them are superstars. Among them are Valimaki, Henley and Berger. Rickie Fowler is seven shots under par, while Spieth is his good friend, one shot behind him.
There are many golfers who disappointed in this tournament, although it was expected that they could do much more.
