TGL producer Jeff Neubarth is satisfied with the course of this tech based league so far. When laying the foundations of this project, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy knew that they had to create a story completely different from the usual ones on the golf scene. The ratings recorded so far can satisfy them, even though some matches were not particularly watched. However, looking at the current course of this league, there is certainly room for optimism and high expectations.
TGL creators and producers are already thinking about the next season, creating ideas for how everything could look like.
TGL producer, Jeff Neubarth revealed that he has already created a wishlist for the second season, noting that he already has several phone calls with suggestions regarding new features in the next season.
Neubarth is delighted with the partnerships they have, as it facilitates the visions and ideas they intend to implement from next season.
Its really funny because I started an Apple note probably in October called season two wishlist. I am so deep into that note right now that I would probably need an entire off-season just to read it and re-prioritise. There are so many things that are opportunities for us to do to get better, Neubarth said, as reported by The Golfing Gazette.
Next season and partnerships
The producer is firmly convinced that next season we could see an even more exciting competition. It is expected that TGL creators will include several more teams, with interesting names in the rosters.
Who will be the reinforcements next year? We still don't have an answer, but the excitement never ends.
I think one thing which has been super exciting for me is that a lot of people, whether its in the golf industry or another industry, love to be a fast second to something.
