Charlotte Flair didnt just make a triumphant return to WWEshe made sure it looked exactly how she wanted it. According to Ric Flair, every detail of Charlottes comeback vignettes, from the private jet shots to the intense training montages, was all her vision.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Ric revealed that his daughter took full control of her return presentation. All those skits with the airplane and all that stuff, that was all her. All her dialogue. The one where shes running and training and putting her knee brace on. Thats all her. She thought of all of that and shes been waiting, chomping at the bit, to get back.
Charlotte had been out of action since December 2023 with a knee injury, but she didnt just sit back and wait for WWE to script her returnshe built it herself. The vignettes showcased her luxurious lifestyle while also emphasizing her grit and determination to reclaim her spot at the top.
Her return at Royal Rumble 2025 was the ultimate payoff, with Charlotte winning the womens Rumble match and securing her shot at the WWE Womens Championship against Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 41.
Ric also made it clear that Charlotte isnt slowing down anytime soon. Now that she is back, shes not taking a day off. Shes working even harder.
