According to Fightful Select, this past SmackDown in Toronto, where Cody faced The Rocks latest mind games, was put together by Michael Kirshenbaum, while Codys promo itself was credited to Michael Hayes. With multiple hands shaping the narrative, its clear WWE is putting serious effort into every detail of Codys road to Elimination Chamber and beyond.
On SmackDown, Cody once again found himself at a crossroads as The Rock pushed him to give him his soul and accept his offer to become his champion. The night ended with a dramatic moment as a custom Ford Raptor with Codys logo rolled out, a gift from The Rock, who taunted him from a private jet. Then came the final gut-punchThe Rock revealing a weight belt labeled Codys Soul with June 11, 2015, the date of Dusty Rhodes passinga move that left Cody staring in silence as SmackDown faded to black.
