WWE continues to evolve its content, with one of the most significant changes being the expansion of certain Premium Live Events like SummerSlam, to two nights. With that said, Triple H has addressed the possibility of WWE adopting a two-night format for all monthly Premium Live Events in the future.
While speaking during the WWE Elimination Chamber post-show, Triple H was asked if WWE would start holding all Premium Live Events in big stadiums and make every single Premium Live Event a two-night affair, specifically naming Survivor Series.
The Cerebral Assassin responded by joking that he wanted to slap the person for asking. He made it clear he had no plans for two-night Premium Live Events every month, saying it would be too much.
Triple H then explained that WWE uses stadiums when an event is big enough, but not every show needs to be in one. He pointed out that Elimination Chamber was not usually a stadium show, yet it was held in a stadium this time, showing how well WWE is doing right now.
Triple H said WWE wants big events to feel special and chooses stadiums when the moment calls for it. However, he stressed that not every episode or PLE should be in a stadium because it would make them less exciting. Just like a TV show, WWE needs ups and downs to keep things interesting.
The Game also said if every big event became a two-night stadium show, it wouldnt feel special anymore. Some of WWEs best shows happen in smaller arenas, where the crowd reactions can be the loudest and most exciting.
The first-ever two-night SummerSlam event will be taking place at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on August 1 and 2, 2026. However, Mark Shapiro previously hinted at additional WWE Premium Live Events expanding to two nights.
Although WWE has adopted the two-night format for some of its biggest events, Triple H just made it clear that a full-scale expansion wont be happening and fans will simply have to accept that now.
