John Cena is officially on the dark side, and now hes letting the world process it in his own cryptic way.
After closing out WWE Elimination Chamber by aligning with The Rock and absolutely destroying Cody Rhodes, Cena refused to give any explanation at the post-show press conference. Instead, the 16-time world champion dropped the mic and walked out, leaving everyone stunned.
Now, Cena has finally made his first post since turning heelbut in true Cena fashion, hes keeping it open for interpretation. Over on Instagram, where he famously never captions his posts, Cena shared a GTA 6 graphic, referencing the viral meme about shocking events happening before Rockstar finally releases the long-awaited video game.
For those unfamiliar, whenever something unexpected happens, fans joke about how we got [X] before GTA 6. And now? We got John Cena turning heel before GTA 6.
Cenas post has fans spiraling, trying to figure out if theres a deeper message behind it. Does he see his betrayal of Cody Rhodes as some kind of major event worthy of history? Is he mocking the fans who thought hed never turn heel? Or is he just sitting back and enjoying the chaos he just unleashed?
Whatever the case, Cena is fully embracing this new version of himself, and its already making the road to WrestleMania 41 one of the wildest in years.
