Kevin Owens faced Sami Zayn in an Unsanctioned Match at WWE Elimination Chamber at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. The match was brutal, featuring weapons like chairs, tables, and even a barbed-wire-wrapped chair. In fact, it appears that WWE granted a special request for the match as well.

In the closing moments, Zayn hit a Blue Thunder Bomb onto chairs for a near-fall. Owens then wrapped a chair around Zayns neck and sent him into the ring post twice before delivering a powerbomb on the apron, followed by a second one to secure the victory.

According to Fightful Selects Sean Ross Sapp, WWE internally claimed that the barbed wire used in the match was not gimmicked or shaved down, which was requested by at least one talent.

After the match, as Owens continued attacking Zayn, Randy Orton made a surprise return as he hit Owens with an RKO and attempted a Punt Kick, but security stepped in to stop him.

We have also reported that no talent suffered any injuries during the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, but many wrestlers walked away with bumps, bruises, and scrapes.

It is evident that WWE will be building Randy Orton and Kevin Owens feud in the coming weeks, which will culminate in a match at WrestleMania 41. Therefore, well have to see what WWE has planned for Sami Zayn in the end, as Zayn showed the world why he is one of the best to ever do it.

Do you think WWE made the right decision by allowing real barbed wire in the match? What are your thoughts on Randy Ortons return? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
