Sonya Deville has been through a lot over the years, including dealing with a dangerous stalker. In August 2020, a man named Philip Thomas II broke into her home and tried to kidnap her after stalking her online for years. In fact, Deville has now revealed what his real intentions were.
While speaking onThe Ariel Helwani Show, Sonya Deville talked about the scary messages her stalker sent her over the years. She said he was always the one to end their conversations, and over time, his messages became more aggressive. She noted that he sent threats about hurting her and her family.
Philip Thomas II made it clear in his messages that he planned to kidnap her, keep her hostage, and stop her from going to SummerSlam. He wanted to take control and do whatever he wanted to her.
When asked why he targeted her, Deville said Thomas claimed he was in love with her. He was upset that she only liked women and not both men and women. He thought she should at least give men a chance just because he was attracted to both. She made it clear that his thinking was crazy, but that was what he believed.
As previously reported, JudgeBarbara Twine-Thomas handed a 15-year sentence to Philip Thomas II back in 2023 and an additional 15 years probation after his sentence is over. Nevertheless, Deville is simply happy to move on from this entire incident and she wouldnt have it any other way.
