And NEWWWWW!

IYO SKY is the NEW Womens World Champion. She defeated Rhea Ripley on the March 3 episode of Raw in the main event and will be facing Bianca Belair next month at WrestleMania 41.

The final moments of the match had both women laid out at ringside by commentary. For SKY in particular, she had to make it back in the ring to avoid a count out. Ripley made her way in by the count of about five, but SKY needed some encouragement to keep going. She got that by Belair who was sitting at ringside. Belair gave words of strength to get SKY back in the ring before the count of ten.

Ripley grew enraged by this. She left the ring to verbally attack Belair accusing her of not wanting to face her at Mania. The two started a shoving contest, but referee Jessika Carr was NOT going to call for the bell, instead, she marched out of the ring to separate them and let them know to stop this during a title match.

In the ring, SKY was getting that much needed breather. Ripley brought SKY up to the top rope and looked back at Belair shouting that she will be seeing her at WrestleMania. Ripley went for the high risk Riptide but SKY countered it into a hurricanrana. SKY took the opportunity, landed a Over the Moonsault and pinned Ripley to win the championship. This ends Ripleys reign at 56 days.
