Kyrie Irving showed his true colours after suffering an apparent knee injury in the Mavericks game against the Kings.
Irving was driving to the basket at speed and looked as though he slipped and slid hard across the floor while landing on his knee.
He immediately grabbed at his knee and looked to be in a significant amount of pain.
Hope Kyrie is OK.

Irving stayed down for a long time before being helped up and across the court by by Anthony Davis and a Mavs staff member. He went over to the free throw line to shoot with Dallas fans cheering MVP, MVP.
It was an incredible show of strength from the nine-time All-Star as he looked to be crying while shooting the free throws.
It was reminiscent of when Kobe Bryant did the same thing in 2013 and Klay Thompson in 2019. Ultimate respect.

The Mavs released this statement: Kyrie Irving (left knee sprain) will not return to tonights game against the Kings.
One Doctor on X thinks it could be as bad as an ACL tear, but lets hope its just a sprain.
Here is the Kyrie Irving Knee injury video
I dont like the way his left knee buckles and hyperextends

-Worst case scenario: ACL tear pic.twitter.com/HHOXo8Pv5e

Unfortunately for the Mavs, it comes as another huge blow for the franchise. They traded away their face only to have him looking better than ever at the Lakers. Every single of their centers is injured, including Anthony Davis, who didnt even last a whole game in his debut.
Looks to be another L for Dallas General Manager Nico Harrison.
Before he exited the game, Irving had seven points, one rebound and one assist in 16 minutes against Sacramento.
Prayers up for Kyrie Irving.
