Rapper Travis Scott was also in the ring with Cena and Rock, attacking Cody Rhodes. However, it appears that Scott has legitimately injured Rhodes during the attack.
Footage circulating on social media recently showed a close-up of Travis Scott legitimately hitting Cody Rhodes, particularly near his ear. A loud thud was heard, making fans in attendance wince at the impact. There was genuine concern about Cody Rhodes being hurt after what Travis Scott did.
While speaking onWrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Cody Rhodes sustained a burst eardrum and a black eye following the incident with Travis Scott, saying, Cody got hurtIm pretty sure it was Travis Scott that did itI heard he had a busted eardrum and a black eye.
As the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes might also get an opportunity to take revenge on Travis Scott. After all, the rapper has been training in the ring, and WWE has discussed the possibility of booking him for future matches.
We will have to wait and see how Cody Rhodes and John Cenas feud will be booked in the coming weeks, as they are set to face each other at WrestleMania 41. With Travis Scott involved in the mix, things could certainly get interesting soon enough.
