AJ Styles might be a WWE superstar now, but dont rule out a TNA Wrestling comebackat least for one night.

Styles, who spent over a decade defining TNA from 2002 to 2013, recently told Chris Van Vliet that hed be open to a special return, though hes not sure if itll actually happen.

I dont know. Id like to. I think itd be fun to do something like that, like a one-off. I would definitely do it, Styles said.

His comments come as WWE and TNA continue their working relationship, something Styles sees as a major shift under Triple Hs leadership. He reflected on how things were different during the Vince McMahon era, revealing that Vince wasnt exactly keeping tabs on talent outside of WWE.

Vince never watched any matches outside of WWE because nothing else existed except for WWE, Styles said. But it feels like Triple H watches everything. I think he had a better idea of who guys and girls were and bringing them in. But thats what we need. You have to evolve.

Styles also explained why partnerships like WWE-TNA and WWE-NOAH benefit the industry as a whole. He pointed to Omos recently working in NOAH as an example, saying, Hes going to learn over there, and hes going to bring that back to WWE. Its going to work well for him in WWE, the things that he didnt know. You learn different styles. Its good.

For now, Styles remains focused on his WWE career, but with doors between companies opening like never before, the idea of Phenomenal One stepping into a TNA ring again isnt as far-fetched as it once was.
