Theres been some confusion about AEWs new deal with Prime Video, so lets set the record straight. AEW pay-per-views arent suddenly included with an Amazon Prime subscriptionthis isnt a freebie for Prime members. Instead, the deal works the same way UFC PPVs do with ESPN+.
If you have an Amazon Prime account, youll be able to purchase AEW pay-per-views through Prime Video for an additional price. That means events like Revolution, Dynasty, Double or Nothing, All In, Forbidden Door, All Out, WrestleDream, Full Gear, and Worlds End will be available on Prime Video, but not included as part of a regular Prime subscription.
On top of that, this isnt an exclusive deal. AEW pay-per-views will still be available through traditional PPV providers, TrillerTV, and other platforms. And later this year, AEW PPVs will also be available for order on Max (formerly HBO Max).
The move to Prime Video just gives AEW another way to reach fans, adding to its already strong distribution. With 220 million Prime Video subscribers globallynearly double the reach of MaxAEW is ensuring its biggest events are easy to find and purchase.
So, no, AEW pay-per-views arent going to suddenly be part of your Prime membership. But if youre an Amazon user, this makes ordering shows a whole lot easier.
